Applicants must apply online to CUKAS using Apply, our secure web-based application system. There is no paper CUKAS application form.
Apply provides detailed on-screen help text to assist applicants in making their applications. Read more about using Apply (this link takes you to the students' section).
Applicants can use our online application system anywhere that has internet access. They can re-work and re-save details on the application as often as necessary, before sending the final version to CUKAS.
For 2012 entry, applicants are able to enter some European characters that are not in the English alphabet (extended character sets) in certain fields of Apply. Information shown to applicants in Apply will refer to the extended characters as 'European characters'. Not all conservatoires can view these characters correctly, so a version of the application with substituted English characters is also made available to them. Characters that do not have a suitable ASCII English character version will be substituted with '#'.

More information about extended character sets is provided in the Important changes for 2012 entry adviser's guide (PDF)
