What happens if I am holding a guaranteed offer - GC or GU?

  • If you accepted a GU as your first choice, you have got a place.

  • If you accepted a GC as your first choice and you have met the conditions of the offer, you have got a place.

  • If you accepted a GU as your second choice and your first choice (VU or VC) is unsuccessful, you have got a place at your second choice.

  • If you accepted a GC as your second choice, you have met the conditions of the offer and your first choice (VU or VC) is unsuccessful, you have got a place at your second choice.

What happens if I am holding a reserve offer - VC or VU?

  • If there is a vacancy at the conservatoire and you have met the conditions of the offer (VC only) then the conservatoire may decide to make you a guaranteed offer.

  • If your first choice is a reserve offer (VC1 or VU1) and the conservatoire changes it to a guaranteed offer (GC1 or GU1), then your second choice will automatically be rejected.
